Huawei has taken some inspiration from their Honor Band 3 success in India and launched three more wearables in the country. It has brought two fitness bands, the Band 2 and Band 2 Pro priced at Rs 4,599 and Rs 6,999 respectively. The company also launched a smartwatch called Fit, priced at Rs 9,999. These will be available in brick and mortar stores across cities as well as e-commerce portals.
Huawei Band 2 and Band 2 Pro
Huawei Band 2 and Band 2 Pro are the new additions to the fitness bands lineup of the company. Both the bands are available in Black, Blue, and Red colours and have similar specifications. They come with a PMOLED screen and are compatible with Android 4.4 and higher or iOS 8.0 and higher versions. Also, they are waterproof up to 5 ATM. Both the bands sport 3-axis Accelerometer, detached PPG Cardiotachometer and Infrared Wear Sensor.
The duo is backed by a 100 mAh battery that can be charged up in 1.5 hours using fast charging with 21 days working time. Band 2 Pro additionally has a built-in GPS which gives it the capability to use activity tracker without the help of a smartphone. The GPS mode brings down the battery backup time on the Band 2 Pro to 3.5 hours. The ‘Pro’ version also supports HUAWEI TruSleep while the other variant does not.
Huawei Fit is essentially a fitness tracker that is designed in round smartwatch form factor. The device has a monochrome screen and comes with Black, Blue and Orange coloured straps. The black strap variant has a Grey watch body while the other two are Silver. It has a 1.04-inch Memory LCD, with touchscreen 208×208, 200 pixels per inch.
The battery specification has not been mentioned, but the company claims that the watch can last six days of normal use and 30 days in standby mode. It has Bluetooth 4.2, BLE, 6-Axis motion sensor(Accelerometer + Gyrometer), Heart rate sensor (PPG), CAP-Sensor, and Ambient light sensor.
It is IP68 certified and can withstand water pressure up to 5 ATM. The Huawei Fit supports Android 4.4 and later and iOS 8.0 and later.
