Indian e-commerce Flipkart has launched it’s first autonomous smartphone in India. The Billion Capture+ smartphone is a camera-centric phone and has dual rear cameras. Flipkart announced the Billion Capture+ smartphone in July this year.
The Billion Capture+ smartphone has two variants, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage priced at Rs 10,999. The other with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, priced at Rs 12,999. The phone has two colour options, namely Mystic Black and Desert Gold. The phone will be available on Flipkart from November 15.
Flipkart Billion Capture+ Specifications
The Billion Capture+ smartphone has a 5.5-inch 401ppi pixel density, full-HD display with 2.5D Dragontrail glass to cover it and a metallic body. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and comes with options for 3GB or 4GB RAM along with 32Gb or 64GB storage. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat, with a 3,500mAh battery to power it.
The smartphone storage can be expanded up to 128Gb via a microSD card. The company is yet to reveal details of the cloud storage facility in the Billion Capture+ that it has teased earlier. The smartphone supports quick charge facility via USB Type-C and the company claims that the battery lasts the better half of two days. The smartphone can provide 7 hours of battery backup with 15 mins of quick charge.
Flipkart claims that the highlight of the device is imaging. The Billion Capture+ smartphone offers a dual-rear camera setup with two 13MP cameras with Dual True Tone flash. The two camera sensors have a combination of RGB and monotone to process the image. The dual-rear camera setup also offers bokeh and depth of field. The 8MP front camera also offers a Portrait mode.
The Billion Capture+ smartphone is a direct competitor of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 with identical specifications at the same price. Though the Billion Capture+ smartphone beats out the Redmi Note 4 in the camera department with deal-rear cameras.
