A few days ago a report came out suggesting OnePlus to skip its OnePlus 5T smartphone and directly jump to OnePlus 6 next year. But now the otherwise seems to be the case.
In the past couple of days people around the web have unearthed reports and claims, all of which point strongly towards the existence of OnePlus 5T. These leaks and teasers show us the alleged image of the smartphone, its price, specifications and even the market launch date.

OnePlus 5T design
The first ever look at the OnePlus 5T comes in the form of a ‘teaser’ image by Android Authority. The image shows the smartphone from the left bottom corner.
It also hints the inclusion of an 18:9 extended display along with the same chassis design as the OnePlus 5.

The very next day the unannounced handset shows up with the codename A5010 on AnTuTu, a mobile benchmarking website. For those unaware, OnePlus 5 came with codename A5000.
Spotted by the GizChina.it website, the benchmarking website reveals the handset specifications.
The list shows the smartphone running Android 8.0 Oreo, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, Adreno 540 GPU, 8GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage.
While this is all the same specs that come inside the OnePlus 5, what’s new is the 1080×2160 pixels FullHD+ display that is being used in several smartphones with 18:9 aspect ratio screen.
Another change is seen in the rear camera combination, which now includes two 20MP sensors. OnePlus 5 has a 16MP and a 20MP sensor at the back. Nothing else was mentioned.
OnePlus 5T Price
The smartphone has also been listed on Oppomart, an e-commerce website, with tentative price and specifications.
The smartphone is seen listed for pre-orders at $549, which roughly Rs 35,700. This is of course, the placeholder price and not the confirmed one.
OnePlus 5T, based on the listing image is once again seen with an extended screen. The spec list also mentions about the 18:9 extended screen.
Here we get to know the smartphone’s 3450mAh battery. The OnePlus 5 comes with a 3300mAh battery.
OnePlus 5T market launch
The latest piece of information about the smartphone’s launch comes from a popular smartphone tipster, Evan Blass (@evleaks) on Twitter.
Blass, citing sources he considers is trustworthy, tweeted that OnePlus smartphone with an extended display indeed exists. He later added that the device could see the light of the day post-November 20 this year.
For those unaware, OnePlus 3T was launched in December last year.
