Tokyo Road Show has never failed to astonish the world in the field of automobiles. We have seen some crazy and futuristic innovations in the past that are eye-popping. In the Tokyo Road Show 2017, which concluded recently, several Japanese automakers took part and presented their unique concepts.

Toyota Fine Comfort Ride concept
Tokyo always has some stunner concepts for its audience. This time it included Fine Comfort ride which was all about next level luxury. The cabin design makes it look compact from outside but is actually spacious from the inside. The two front seats and rear luxurious soda like seats can adjust their direction upon passenger’s choice. Seats are also capable of being fully inclined at sleeping position. The cabin is full of screens, ensuring that passenger gets good amount of entertainment. Toyota claims it to be autonomous too.
Toyota Crown concept at Tokyo Road Show 2017
The 15th generation crown is a top-notch luxury sedan with a technology that is rare for now. Crown comes with vehicle-to-vehicle communication technology called Intelligent Transport System (ITS). It uses 760-MHz radio frequency for communication. Furthermore, the Crown ahead can keep sync with Crown behind without any driver intervention, making driving safer.
Toyota Concept-i Ride and walk
This concept car aims to make it easier for disabled users and old population to get inside. It has an autonomous driving support and features gullwing doors, sliding chair for the disabled, space for folding wheelchairs and ability to understand gestures of the driver.
2018 Nissan Leaf Nismo
At the Tokyo Road Show 2017, Nissan didn’t have much for the show as compared to other Japanese Automakers. But it did give a glimpse at the 2018 Nissan Leaf Nismo. Just after Nissan launched its Leaf 2018 EV, talks about the 2018 Leaf Nismo started brewing u on the web. The automobile is a high performance (Sports) version of Leaf 2018. EV Nismo will be having custom equipped computers to deliver an instant acceleration boost.
In Mazda Kai, traditional tablet display on the inside is replaced with a long stretched panel, which runs all over the dashboard. The concept car comes with the next-gen Skyactiv-X gasoline engine and has a KODO design profile and Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture.
Subaru Viziv Performance Concept
The Viziv Performance Concept comes with a beast-like engine and turbocharger revving up the torque to its full potential. Subaru’s EyeSight technology makes use of cameras and sensors to get an idea of the surroundings and protect the car. It also features a radar technology which helps by maintaining adequate distance from other cars while on road. There is a real-time GPS technology to assist the driver of other rational routes with less traffic.
Suzuki E survivor
The E survivor is an off-roader with big tires making it seem like an all-terrain EV. The interiors come with displays and sensors, which provide drivers and co-passengers with surrounding information. It even has augmented reality displays to provide information with much ease and avoid distractions.
